Part time Jobs
Most students, even with their student busaries and loans will struggle to make ends meet. The Students' Association and the University can help you find a job to supplement your income. Both the Students' Association and the University offer serices for checking CVs. Keep an eye out on the website for Job advertisements within the Students Unions during the first trimester.
Graduate Jobs
If you are looking for Graduate jobs, why not go and visit the Universities Career service - although remember don't leave it too late! You can visit them on campus or go to their web page, the link for which is under Employability link.
Trade Unions
As an enrolled student at The University of the West of Scotland, you are automatically a member of the National Union of Students(UK). While you are a student this Union offers protection for you, and your rights. However when you leave University you lose this collective protection. If you wish to join a trade union the Students' Association can give advice on joining and dicuss the options avaliable to you.
