Making Change Happen Research Assistant
Applications are invited for an exciting new post as part of a wider partnership project investigating and development student activism.
Activism should be accessible to all students, but how can you build a campaign which different sections of the student community can access at the same time? Can activities be planned that can be balanced amongst childcare, employment, studies? How can we widen what students perception of activism is? And do we need to change perceptions of what activism actually is?
These are important questions for any union seeking to widen participation in activism. The Making Change Happen project aims to engage those hard to reach students and in the process develop best practice for other unions to widen their participation in activism.
