The aim of the Law society is for any student from the Law course to join and build connections and get opportunities. Create study groups, receive help from the years above on how to prepare for exams, assessments or even how to handle all the work load the Law has. Followed by of course create fun social events which every Law student deserves. Whether it’s having pizza at the Student Union or in centre Glasgow, or plan a Law ball which is the biggest aim!
Joining fee is £5 per member which will be used to pay any deposits for future events and/or provide transportation to the events from the University of the West of Scotland Paisley, Glasgow (vote will be taken on what to use the money for. Committee Members do not touch the money until vote is taken place and majority agree!).
The Law society is hoping to develop:
* Guidance to each other within the studies
* Fund raising for social events such as Law ball, graduation events or sub crawl (vote will be taken in regards to this as well)
* Gain connections and help each other with future employment.
We meet every two weeks on a Tuesday from 12pm-1pm on the second floor of the Student Association building in Paisley, Glasgow.
