On this page you will find all information about the Executive Commitee and their activities. The Executive Committee meets once per month and discusses issues which are of importance to the Student Body. The Executive Committee has 18 members and is made up of three types of officers and a union chair:

The Sabbatical Officers are elected from the student body. They are full time and paid a salary in order for them to take a year out of their studies. Click on the images below to find out more about each officer and to see their calendars.
The Executive Officers are part-time volunteers, who represent their campuses within the executive committee. Click on their names to send them an email.
The Liberation Officers sit on the Executive Committee to ensure that the voices of students who self define within each Liberation Group are heard. Click on their names to send them an email.
The Union Chair is not a member of the Executive Committee, but acts as the voice of students. The role is designed to create more transparency within SAUWS and to question the elected officers on their manifesto pledges.
